Since its inception in 1998, Willow Bend Academy has provided students with the skills to develop self-confidence and to become independent learners.

Our core values include the development of God-given talents and abilities through:

1. •Fully accredited program of studies.  In 2009, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools peer review team awarded Willow Bend Academy “Highly Functional” status for four of the six standards  of accreditation and “Operational” for the other two for an overall “Highly Functional” rating.
   

1. •Challenging curriculum tailored to the individual student. Students may pursue either a general diploma, a college prep diploma or an honors diploma.
   

1. •Mastery learning requires students to demonstrate mastery of the current assignment  before being pushed forward without a firm understanding.  Faculty understand that not all students learn in the same manner and design individual students’ curriculum accordingly.
   

1. •Personal attention to ensure academic success.  A recent five-year comparison shows that Willow Bend Academy students who took the ACT are well prepared for continued studies at the university level.
